This past weekend, Climate Action Support Pathway provided vital services to over 500 individuals arrested taking part in non-violent protest. This was the largest number of arrests made by the Metropolitan Police on a single day in the last 10 years.
The time, energy, and physical cost of providing assistance to this many arrests is substantial, but absolutely vital. It ensures that each individual is not alone. That they are greeted by a volunteer after leaving custody. Making sure they have what they need, are able to get home safely, and if not, emergency accommodation is found for them. Donate now to ensure those taking action are not alone.
CASP relies on generous and committed volunteers to provide these support roles. However, there are still many cost implications. As the more central police stations in London fill up, those arrested are taken further afield, and expenses such as travel costs increase substantially.

For those taking brave action on the streets, there is an unseen support system that is critical for the wellbeing of those individuals. CASP will continue to be there to provide these vital services for those taking part in peaceful protest, but we need your help. Donate now to support peaceful protest
